Monmouth County Environmental Council - Brief Description

The Monmouth County Environmental Council (MCEC) consists of 9 county residents, one Planning Board representative, and support staff that act as liaisons among municipal environmental commissions, regional planning councils, various conservation and watershed planning groups, and the Monmouth County Planning Board.  The Council undertakes projects and sponsors forums to educate the public and promote land and water stewardship.  The MCEC advises the Monmouth County Planning Board on environmental matters as appropriate.
